Welcome to the official website for The Stories of Rhys children's books. The stories are about a young Welsh dragon called Rhys who is a very special dragon with a secret, but he doesn't know who he is or the danger that awaits him and the destiny he must follow. He is being protected, but doesn't know why. Someone is trying to make sure he never makes fire. It's an exciting and mysterious adventure story about courage and justice that develops over eight books which are suitable for children 7-11 years old. It captivates and thrills, as well as being emotional and moving. The E-books are eight chapters long and there are eight full colour illustrations that bring the characters and scenes to life. The ebook in action at a Welsh school.
The E-book is a simple to use. It opens to look like a real book with a double page view and the pages turn with a click of your mouse. The interactive contents page allows you to navigate through the chapters and pages. It's very easy to use and is published on the latest professional software giving the highest quality appearance and detail.
The stories are about a young Welsh dragon called Rhys, who lives in a cave on The Great Orme in North Wales with his mother. The first book "The Great Orme" tells of his early years there. It is written in English with some Welsh words and phrases, and there is a pronunciation key in the book to help you with them, but there are only a few. The books are suitable for children from about five to six years up to twelve years old (ideal age group 8-12 years) , but they can be enjoyed by adults and older children too. As well as being an exciting and mysterious adventure story about courage and justice, the books aim the promote Wales and Welsh history. The first book has received rave reviews and I'm sure you won't be disappointed with it. It's a great children's book that captivates and thrills, as well as being emotional and moving.
